ekko Climate API v2.6

API v2.6 introduces a closer connection between carbon calculation and the resulting compensation or contribution.

What’s new

  • calcReference added to /impact_calculator: Each calculation now returns a unique calcReference to be passed into the compensation/ contribution call. This makes it easy to link every footprint directly to its resulting action.
  • New funds endpoint: The previous /projects/portfolio endpoint has evolved into /funds. It now accepts the calcReference as input, enabling a seamless flow from calculation → compensation/contribution → records.
  • Checkout SDK support: This version adds full support for the Checkout SDK, allowing you to surface impact calculations, compensation and contribution options directly in the checkout flow — pre-purchase, in real time.
