Added
ekko Climate API v3
March 1st, 2026
v3 of the ekko Climate API is available, with a simpler organisation model and more control over how funds and impact data are reported. See Migrating from v2 to v3 for the full breaking-change reference.
What's new
- A single organisation model. One
organisationIdcovers structures that used to need separate brand and product records, nested throughparentOrganisationId. - Per-line funds breakdown. Each funds allocation response returns individual line items for credits and contributions, breaking out the impact amount, service fee and tax rate per line, plus a
taxLiabilityfield for who holds sales tax responsibility. - Location-matched projects. Consumer location data can be used to prioritise projects close to the consumer.
- Locked-in pricing. A quote fixes pricing and tax rates upfront, so the amount calculated is the amount allocated.
Breaking changev3 is not backward-compatible with v2.5 or v2.6. See Migrating from v2 to v3 before switching your base URL.
